Graphic recording is the process of translating a group dialogue into images in real time. Along with providing a synthesized recording of ideas, these images engage participants, create a common information set, illuminate patterns and insights, and spark further creative thinking. They go a long way in making the outputs tangible. I typically draw the images on foam board or whiteboards during the meeting.
I can also create the same images digitally, on a tablet. Several of the examples below were created that way. But in my experience, especially in this increasing age of AI, people love to see the physical drawings happen.
I've worked with numerous companies, from non-profit organizations to global corporations, including Google, IBM, UBS, Accenture, Fidelity Investments, Lexis/Nexis, BMW, the Industrial Designer's Society of America, The Futures Company, the Hunt's Point Alliance for Children, and the companies shown below.
