The original art for this cartoon published in the New Yorker magazine August 22, 2022.

This is one of my favorite original pieces. After carving the image out of the scratchboard, I stuck a toothbrush in some ink and flicked it carefully over the surface to give it a subtle look of light glowing out of the window.
